Set amongst the magnificent scenery of Royal Deeside, in the shadows of Lochnagar is the Balmoral Estate.Purchased by Queen Victoria in 1848, the Estate has been the Scottish Home of the British Royal Family ever since. This tour offers an insight into the real workings of the Estate and tells the stories of the Castle's most famous residents and visitors. The tour brings to life such characters as Queen Victoria, Prince Albert and the Tsar of Russia but also, to a lesser extent staff from the Estate and Royal Household.
