Accessibility

The passing of the Disability Discrimination act in 1995 gave disabled people more rights in several areas, including access to services.

As a result Museums and Galleries have to take steps to make their exhibitions easy for disabled people to use. At ATS Heritage we have taken various disabilities into consideration when designing our products.

We have a number of ready made solutions and are happy to work with you to create something to meet your specific requirements.

With regards to this website:

We have wherever possible tried to make this website suitable for everybody to enjoy, a screenreader can access the main bulk of the text and all images have an alternative text description.

The text is easily resizable, by choosing the 'View' option in the top bar, then selecting 'Text Size' or 'Zoom' and then your size preference.

We feel that the colour scheme of highly contrasting colours makes it more readable and easier to understand where links are, we have also used a standard link colour, to make the website easier to navigate. The articles are written in simple, readable English and there is a a quick and easy method to contact us with any queries.
